Gardens Beyond the Drawing Board

'Honouring the brief'

The theme for this conference was how the gardens that designers and the landscape industry are creating would be maintained in the future and to the standard required by the design.  The day began with an introduction by Charles Notcutt, the past President of the Suffolk Agricultural Association and Retired Chairman of Notcutts and past Council member of the Royal Horticultural Society.  Presentations by Nicholas Newton, Sarah Cook and Bunny Guinness ranged in topics from Garden Creation to Interpreting the Spirit of a Garden to How to Enjoy your Garden and Make it Work to the Full

ELD was honoured to have been involved in presenting a display stand and attending the conference.  Many memorable faces were in attendance, including some friends from the Suffolk Show. The talks were informative and it was a great day to meet other Landscape Architects and Garden Designers and to keep up to date on what is happening in the field.
