Working in conjunction with fully qualified Ecological Consultants, ELD is able to provide ecological services to review and assess sites in relation to planning applications.  This part of the ELD landscape and ecological package offered to clients.

Advice to ELD on all matters relating to ecology include:

Ecological Scoping Surveys; Phase 1 Habitat Surveys; Great Crested Newt Surveys; Reptile Surveys; Bat Surveys; Otter Surveys; Water Vole surveys; Bird Surveys; Dormice Surveys; Invertebrate Surveys and Badger Surveys.

Current standard ecological specifications required for many planning applications include:

"Schwegler" bird box, type "1B", (with 32mm or 26mm hole), to be mounted onto an existing mature tree or timber post 3-4m above ground in accordance with manufacturers instructions.

"Schwegler" bat box, type "2F", to be mounted onto an existing mature tree or timber post 3-4m above ground in accordance with manufacturers instructions.

"Schwegler" flat bat box, type "1WQ" or type "1FQ", to be mounted onto an existing mature tree or timber post 3-4m above ground in accordance with manufacturers instructions.

"Schwegler" starling box, type "3S," to be mounted onto a building in accordance with manufacturers and ecological consultant instructions.

"Schwegler" house sparrow terrace, to be mounted onto a building in accordance with manufacturers and ecological consultant instructions.
